Yemeni Jambiya (Dagger)

A short curved Yemeni (Arab) dagger is called a jambiya. The blade is stored in a close fitting case of wood called the sheath. The elaborate silver work is of Yemeni origin. The dagger is in very good condition with minor dents at the rear, and the double-edge sword is not sharp, The entire front of the dagger is decorated with the finest silver filigree work.
